Trichobezoar Causing Small Bowel Obstruction
Abstract
A trichobezoar is a mass of hair accumulated within the gastrointestinal tract. Though stomach is the commonest site of trichobezoar, we encountered a patient with a trichobezoar in the terminal ileum. We present a case report of a 7-year old girl with ileal trichobezoar causing intestinal obstruction.
